Team USA Announced for Paris Olympics

The United States Basketball Team (USAB) has announced its 12-man roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The team, which is aiming for a fifth consecutive gold medal, will be led by four-time NBA champions Jayson Tatum, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant.

The group includes four players who have previously won an NBA championship: Tatum (Boston Celtics), Curry (Golden State Warriors), Durant (Brooklyn Nets), and Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat). The other eight players on the roster are Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers), Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers), Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies), Zion Williamson (New Orleans Pelicans), Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers), and De'Aaron Fox (Sacramento Kings).

Team USA will be the favorite to win gold in Paris, but they will face stiff competition from other top teams, including Spain, Australia, France, and Argentina. The group stage of the tournament will be played in Lille, France, from July 26 to August 3, with the knockout rounds taking place in Paris from August 5 to 10.
