Early Life and Career
Gail Kim, born February 20, 1977, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a Korean-Canadian professional wrestler, model, actress, and valet. She has held numerous championships throughout her career, including the WWE Women's Championship and the TNA Knockouts Championship.
WWE and TNA Wrestling
Kim began her wrestling career in 2000, wrestling on the independent circuit. In 2003, she signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where she competed for three years. During this time, she became the first female wrestler to win the WWE Women's Championship in a Fatal Four-Way match. In 2006, she joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where she became one of the most decorated female wrestlers in the company's history.
Post-Wrestling Career
In 2017, Kim announced her retirement from in-ring competition. However, she remained active in the wrestling industry as a producer for TNA. She also pursued a career in acting, appearing in several films and television shows.
